Funny Things

I believe that everyone should know themselves well and should acknowledge their weaknesses as well as their strengths.  I would like to publicly admit one of my weaknesses now:  I am not funny.  On the rare occasion I attempt humor, it is usually greeted with a groan, or in the case of a better joke, a slight chuckle and a shake of the head.  Sometimes a roll of the eyes.

Fortunately, however, I have been blessed with the talent of recognizing funniness in other people.  I would like to share the humor of some of those people with you now.

Michael Jr.
Not only is he funny, he's also using his humor to reach out to people who really need a laugh.  Check out the trailer for his documentary, Comedy: The Road Less Traveled on the site.  You can purchase your own copy here.

End of the World
Warning: not appropriate for children.  Not particularly enlightened or mature, but freaking hilarious nonetheless.

Cake Wrecks
This blog is devoted to cakes gone "horribly, hilariously wrong."  Usually ok for kids, and she gives you a warning before posts with more, uh, mature content.  (Disclaimer: Use of the word "mature" does not necessarily imply any actual maturity on the part of the blogger or the bakers of the cakes featured by said blogger.)

Bill Cosby
This is one of my favorite parts of Bill Cosby, Himself.  Enjoy.

Actually, the whole thing is my favorite part.  Want more?  Amazon has the whole thing here.
